On a recent <a href="http://urbansketchers-bayarea.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Urban Sketchers</a> expedition to El Cerrito's , artist Jana Bouc captured this image of the famous laughing Sal, whose boisterous laugh frightened and mesmerized generations of visitors to San Francisco's former Playland amusement park next to Ocean Beach.
