• Police seek two suspects in shooting homicide of young man at El Cerrito shopping center (contracostaherald.com) — A young man was fatally shot Sunday in the Del Norte Plaza parking lot in El Cerrito, and police are asking residents for tips to identify two suspects who fled in a dark sedan. Officers from multiple agencies responded, but the victim died despite aid. Anyone who saw the altercation or recognizes the suspects' descriptions is urged to contact El Cerrito Police.
   

• El Cerrito Police Announce Arrest in Homicide, Seek Accomplices (contracosta.news) — El Cerrito police have arrested an 18-year-old Richmond man in connection with Sunday's homicide in El Cerrito and are still searching for two accomplices. Working with regional agencies and license-plate camera systems, investigators located the suspected getaway car in Vallejo. Residents with any information about the remaining suspects are urged to call El Cerrito investigators.
