SAN PABLO, CA — Ballots sent to residents of a San Pablo mobile home park are missing City Council races and local ballot measures, according to an advisory sent by the city on Tuesday afternoon.
The Contra Costa County Registrar of Voters provided Nov. 3 General Election ballots to voters in the Idle Wheels Mobile Home Park at 13900 San Pablo Ave. that inadvertently excluded two at-large council races and local measures, officials said.
The county elections office is working with the city and voters in the mobile home park to make sure they have an opportunity to vote in the local races, said elections department spokesperson Dawn Kruger.
The city is urging registered voters in Idle Wheels to go in person to one of the following polling locations to request a provisional ballot: Helms Middle School at 2500 Road 20; San Pablo Library Community Room,13751 San Pablo Ave.; or Davis Park Multi-Purpose Room, 1667 Folsom Ave.
On Tuesday, San Pablo voters are deciding a sales tax put on the ballot by the City Council as well as a rent control citizen initiative that the council members are opposing. In addition four candidates are running for two seats on the City Council, elections officials said.
All polling locations close at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
