The Richmond BART station has reopened and BART service is recovering after a closure earlier this evening caused by an unattended package found on the nearby Amtrak platform, according to BART officials. Richmond bound trains were stopped at El Cerrito del Norte Station during the closure, which began around 8 p.m. The closure also affected service on Amtrak's Capitol Corridor line. —By Bay City News
