Please join us to hear Professor David Presti, author of Foundational Concepts in Neuroscience: A Brain-Mind Odyssey, is a neurobiologist, psychologist, and cognitive scientist at UC Berkeley. He also teaches neuroscience to Tibetan monks and nuns in India and Bhutan as part of a contemporary dialogue between science and religion initiated by the Dalai Lama. He’s well-known for his research and lectures at conferences around the country and leads workshops at Esalen.
Dr. Presti is a beloved UC professor whose classes reach more than 1,300 students every year. When he presented a few years ago, the audience was one of our largest!
