The Star: On a day where the Gauchos struggled from the field, Jabri Jenkins led the team with 10 points and added three rebounds. 

The Turning Point: O'Dowd opened the game on an 8-0 run and the Gauchos never recovered.

Who's Next? El Cerrito's season came to a conclusion with the loss, while Bishop O'Dowd will play Lutheran-La Verne on Saturday at 2:45 p.m.

The Bottom Line: The Gauchos simply ran into a better team, but it won't overshawdow what was arguably the second-best season in school history. It was El Cerrito's second trip to the NorCal finals and first since Drew Gooden led the team to the state finals in 1999.
