
High school seniors and their families are invited to attend a free Cash for College workshop in January 2016 in West Contra Costa County for help in filling out their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act applications.

- January 20th, 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Kennedy High School
- January 21st, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Hercules High School
- January 26th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at De Anza High School
- January 27th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Pinole High School
- January 28th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Richmond High School

The Ed Fund is a nonprofit organization that works with community based organizations that provide services to West Contra Costa County to create educational environments where our students thrive and succeed in their chosen endeavors. The Ed Fund is coordinating FAFSA and Ca Dream Act Application training to ensure we have enough volunteers to help all students in West Contra Costa County Unified School District complete their financial aid applications by the March 2nd priority deadline. The Ed Fund convenes the West County College Access Network consisting of 25+ partner organizations representing the West Contra Costa Unified School District, Contra Costa College, Community Based Organizations, and local governmental agencies that seek to increase the number of West Contra Costa Unified School District students attaining a post-secondary education.
