Chamber Music Concert Saturday!

Berkeley Baroque Strings Presents "Musica Animalia" 4:00 pm

“Musica Animalia” is the theme of the Berkeley Baroque Strings concert Saturday, May 20th at 4:00 pm. The concert will be held at the Hillside Community Church, 1422 Navellier St., El Cerrito. With the sounds of birds, frogs, dogs, and sheep, the program includes “Sheep May Safely Graze” by J.S. Bach, “Capriccio Sopra Il Chucho” by Girolamo Frescobaldi, and “Alster Overture” by Georg Philipp Telemann. The program also features violin soloist Paula White, performing “Spring” from Vivaldi’s popular “Four Seasons.”

Under the music direction of Kati Kyme, a member of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and the New Esterhazy Quartet, the chamber orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

Tickets at the door are $20, students $10, and children under 12 free.
