Community Invited to Earthquake Preparedness Meeting in El Cerrito

The meeting will be held on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Arlington Clubhouse. Officials ask that you RSVP.

In light of the recent 6.1 earthquake in Napa, the El Cerrito Fire Department will be holding a meeting at 7 PM on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Arlington Clubhouse, 1120 Arlington Blvd., El Cerrito.

Battalion Chief David Gibson of the El Cerrito Fire Department will facilitate a discussion on both preparedness and what to do and not to do in the event of an earthquake/disaster. Following a brief presentation there will be an question and answer period to address questions that people may have regarding earthquake preparedness and response during a quake.
