Contra Costa College Offers 7 New Degrees, Certificates

SAN PABLO, CA — Contra Costa College is offering seven new degrees and certificates this fall. Here are two examples:

• The Business Information Worker certificate of achievement will prepare students for general office jobs in just two semesters, by focusing on key skills, procedures and software.
• The paramedic studies program will complement CCC’s existing Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, by preparing students for higher-level jobs in the emergency medical services, with a mix of theory, lab time, clinical practicum and field internships.

The college offers 125 degree and certificate options, with several aiming to make students immediately competitive in the workforce. Others take care of basic classes before transferring to a university or college for a four year degree.
