Driver Crashes into Home After Being Shot

Emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital to treated his gunshot wounds.

Deputies are investigating an attempted homicide following an early morning shooting in unincorporated San Pablo, which left one person with several gunshot wounds. At 4:44 a.m., deputies responded to the 1200 block of Karen Road for a report of a shooting, according to Contra Costa County sheriff’s officials.

When deputies arrived, they found a vehicle had crashed into a residence. The vehicle’s driver, a male, was found slumped down in the driver’s seat unconscious, sheriff’s officials said. Emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital to treated his gunshot wounds.
