Earthquake Talk
Earthquake talk in Kensington at the Community Center, 59 Arlington Ave, Kensington. The talk will take place on Thursday, 8/28, at 7 PM.

In light of Sunday’s 6.1 earthquake in Napa there will be a meeting at 7 PM, the evening of Thursday, 8/28, at the Kensington Community Center, 59 Arlington Ave.
We will have Battalion Chief David Gibson, El Cerrito/Kensington Fire Dept, and Phil Machell, American Red Cross Preparedness Instructor, there as well as members of CERT to discuss both preparedness and what to do and not do in the event of an earthquake/disaster. We will have on hand a gas meter so that you may learn how to properly turn your meter off. We will also have an earthquake actuated gas shutoff valve on display, something you may consider installing.
This is being hosted by the Kensington Public Safety Council, (KPSC) and we hope to see you all there. Please RSVP to kensingtonpsc@gmail.com so we know how many people are attending.
