The mountain biking team from displayed the value of its dedication and training at the Norcal Mountain Biking League Granite Bay Race. Held March 13, it was the second race of the season and the first full Northern California competition with 37 teams from across the region. El Cerrito overall  finished in 6th place, with Sean Bennett winning first-place honors among freshmen boys.
