Police in El Cerrito are trying to unite a lost dog with its owner. An older Springer Spaniel was dropped off at the El Cerrito Police Department Tuesday afternoon. The dog was later turned over to the county's shelter in Pinole, according to police. They're asking anyone familiar with the dog to call Contra Costa Animal Services at (510) 374-3966.
