Brush Fire Contained In Richmond: RFD
Central Avenue is still closed at the intersection of Rydin Road.
RICHMOND, CA—The Richmond Fire Department says it has contained a two-acre grass fire as of 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The El Cerrito Fire Department assisted Richmond firefighters in fighting the fire, which broke out at Rydin Road and Central Avenue, near Costco.
The fire department says smoke "will continue for the next hour or two."

Central Avenue is still closed at the intersection with Rydin.
The Richmond Fire Department has contained a two acre grass fire at Rydin Road and Central Avenue. Smoke will continue for the next hour or two. Central Avenue is closed at the intersection and people should avoid the area while first responders are on the scene.
