Please come and be ready to have some fun at "A Country Western Hoe-Down." There will be live music provided by a band and DJ for dancing (even country line dancing), a silent and live auction, a no host bar, country western grub, and a raffle. This annual event helps to give financial assistance for tuition to families who have children that attend St. John the Baptist from kindergarten through eighth grade. This year in particular 50% of the profit will go towards the library renovation project and 50% will continue to support financial aid. There will be a contest for the best dressed in country western wear too. Pre-event tickets can be purchased for $40. They will be $45 at the door. This is an adult-only event however, childcare through the school will be available. The children will have their own pizza dinner with a movie to watch. So saddle up and mosey on down to what is guaranteed to be a "knee-slapping, high-fiving, grand 'ol time!"
