City of El Cerrito 16th Annual Dynamo Golf Scramble

The City of El Cerrito’s Recreation Department will be hosting our major fundraiser golf

tournament, the 16th Annual Dynamo Scramble, to raise money for the David Hunter Memorial

Scholarship Fund and the Open House Senior Center.

The Dynamo Open returns to the Mira Vista Golf Course and Country Club in El Cerrito on Monday, September 10, 2012.

Scholarships assist families in need of providing safe, high quality programs for children. The

Open House Senior Center Fund helps to maintain many of the activities and services that El

Cerrito’s senior programs have been noted for over the years.

Last year’s golf tournament hosted close to one hundred players who played a round of golf,

had a delicious lunch, and participated in a raffle great prizes provided by tournament sponsors.

Past tournaments have raised more than $10,000! The success of this event is due to the

generosity and support of local businesses, service organizations, and private citizens. Without

their support, many programs, which benefit seniors and children in El Cerrito, would not be

possible.

All levels of play welcome. The shotgun format works for any caliber golfer. The tournament is scored two ways: 1.

Blind Bogey, and 2. Low gross. Both formats will be scored by the Pro Shop Staff.
