On Saturday, October 15, 2011 the El Cerrito Arts and Culture Commission is hosting a "Do-It-Yourself Arts Fair" to promote local artists and drive creativity in everyone! The free event will celebrate arts and culture by showcasing local artists as well as provide fun, hands-on workshops for kids and adults.
Visit the Exhibit Hall: See works by local artists and learn about how you can get involved in local arts organizations. Meet and talk with painters, photographers, jewelry makers, film makers and musicians, plus artists that create origami, wooden African Art sculptures, Lego models and more. Some items on display will be available for purchase. Attend FREE hands-on workshops (Click on link to read more about the workshops--Spaces are limited.)
