Learn how stuff works. Save money. Reduce your e-waste footprint.
Fixit clinic XXVII is Fathers Day on the sidewalk in front of Elevation 66 Brewing Company (San Pablo Ave. at Central in El Cerrito). Bring your broken electronics, small-appliances, computers, toys, etc. for assessment, disassembly and possible repair.
We'll provide workspace, specialty-tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. Whether we fix it or not, you'll learn more about how it was manufactured and how it worked. This is a family-friendly event - bring the kids!

What to bring:
- Your broken or non-working thing (carry-in only - no oversize items),
- tools you already own that might be helpful (e.g. phillips head screwdriver),
- a camera or camera-phone to document the disassembly and what we find inside and
- boxes, bags and/or small containers to organize (and carry away) parts.
- Funds. The event is free but you may want to grab a part at Pastime Hardware and you will surely want to celebrate your repair or drown your sorrows at Elevation 66.
