The Hillside Nature Area is one of El Cerrito’s finest features, wilderness trails in the midst of the city. Join us for a two-hour steep and rigorous hike. We will learn about historic quarries, visit two Memorial Groves, hear some amusing stories, discover the beautiful stairway to nowhere, and talk about the park’s future.

Bring good shoes and cold water for sure and lunch if you’d like for a post-hike picnic.
