Kensington Celebrates All Creatures Great and Small

As part of our ongoing effort to participate in the wider community, ACC is again sponsoring an event to celebrate the many creatures that bring joy into our lives.  Several rescue organizations will have animals for adoption. This is an opportunity to provide a home to a creature rescued from abuse or neglect and in need of a permanent home.

The event features a blessing of the animals by our own Pastor Dr. Tony so bring your pets! Jaima is setting up the ACC booth and would appreciate any assistance.

Ann Ramsey’s horse, Stetson, will again be selling kisses for $1.00.  CCC Animal Care and Control will give low cost shots and microchips and registering pets; and their veterinarian will answer any questions you might have. There will be demonstrations by Diane Chesmik Dog Trainer, Guide Dogs for the Blind and other exciting presenters.

The team putting this together is Pastor Dr. Tony Clark, Tom Dean, Alan Gardiner, Nina Harmon, Jenna Kemp, Joe Pratt, Ann Ramsey, Jaima Roberts, and Dudley Thompson, as well as several members of the local community.  If you would like to volunteer to help us, please contact Jenna in the office at 510 526-8146 or email us at acc.staff@sbcglobal.net.
