On Monday, May 14, Michael Reardon will give a demonstration of his carefully thought out and sketched plans for producing evocative watercolors at the El Cerrito Art Association. His focus is on finding the perfect composition in excellent light. Fountains and the Golden Gate Bridge are two of his recent series.
Based in Oakland, Michael is an avid traveler. He is inspired to create by landscapes and architecture from around the world. Using his extensive background in architecture and illustration, he composes convincing watercolors both in plein air and studio painting.

The May 14th meeting will be held in the Garden Room of the El Cerrito Community Center, 7007 Moeser Lane in El Cerrito. The evening begins at 7:00 pm with social time and a “mini art show” of members’ work. A brief business meeting is held at 7:30, followed by the speaker.
