This 1-hr. film looks at the lively and colorful Afro-Peruvian tradition, explaining part of the community´s history in the process. Produced and directed by Eve A. Ma, the star is the charismatic Lalo Izquierdo--artistic director, lead dancer and lead percussionist of the featured performing group ("de Rompe y Raja"), and also the show´s chief interview subject.
