Have you ever wished that writing were easier for you? That you could write without dreading it? Learn the 2 biggest factors of writer's block and practice overcoming them both. As you learn to write more freely, you will find yourself discovering new ideas to explore and actually enjoying the process. The workshop will consist of learning some techniques, responding to imaginative writing prompts, and receiving supportive feedback that will increase your writing self-confidence. Voila! Lynn Hammond has a PhD in English and has taught writing for over 40 years at UC Santa Barbara, Golden Gate University, Hastings Law School, and Diablo Valley College. She co-founded the Writing and Thinking Institute at Bard College, which helps teachers and students experience writing as the truly joyful and creative act that it is. Lynn has been a member of UUCB for 14 years.
