Free Lecture by Matthew Fox..."Transforming Evil in Soul and Society"

Rev. Matthew Fox is a former member of the Dominican Order of the Catholic Church. He was expelled from the order by Cardinal Ratzinger in 1993 for denying the doctrine of original sin and for his writings about Creation Spirituality and Original Blessing rather than Original Sin and for calling God "Mother". In 1996, he founded the University of Creation Spirituality. The Creation Spirituality movement is supported by leading-edge science, bearing witness for social, environmental and gender justice. He has written and published numerous books on various spiritual topics including Creation Spirituality.

Matthew Fox's presentation is titled Transforming Evil in Soul and Society. His latest book, which was just published, is Sins of the Spirit, Blessings of the Flesh: Transforming Evil in Soul and Society, with a luminous forward by Deepak Chopra. In the book, he shows how spirit and flesh are entwined with each other in a spiritually nourishing bond.
