Free Panel: Using Social Media for Business

A public panel at El Cerrito City Hall on March 15 will focus on how local businesses can take better advantage of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogging and other social media.

As the world spends more and more time connecting through social media like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, small businesses find themselves confronted by new challenges and opportunities if they want to be plugged into the rapidly expanding new channels of public engagement.

A free , "Utilizing Social Media for Business," on how local businesses can take better advantage of social media and blogging will be held Tuesday, March 15, 8-9:30 a.m. in the City Council chambers at El Cerrito City Hall. Business people and other members of the public are invited to attend. Questions, tips and insights from the audience will be encouraged.
