Gas Leak Stopped After Carport Collapse
The leak was reported at 5:43 p.m. at 242 25th St.

RICHMOND, CA: Utility crews have stopped a gas leak in Richmond this evening, according to PG&E spokesman JD Guidi. The leak was reported at 5:43 p.m. at 242 25th St. and crews arrived on scene at 6:03 p.m. Utility workers determined that a carport had collapsed at that location, damaging a gas meter below, Guidi said.
The flow of gas was shut off at 7:05 p.m., according to Guidi.
