Why did you want to be interviewed today?
I don’t know — because I want to be famous. That’d be awesome.
And why do you want to be famous?
I like acting, and I want to be like on a TV show.
Do you know what kind of TV show you’d like be on?
Like Disney.
Do you like performing, like songs and music?
Uh-huh. Yeah.
Do you play anything?
I play piano.
Have you done any performing around here?
I did school plays, and I did CCCT () for six years.
What kind of roles did you play there?
I was a crocodile once. And I was an iguana once. And I was a nurse.
Why did you get cast as animals so often?
Because there are lots of animals in the plays.
What are you doing this summer?
I’m going to camp.
Which one?
Masquers theater.
What’s your favorite, um, book?
I really like anything by Lauren Myracle.
What does she write?
"Ttyl"
What does that mean?
"Talk to you later."
Oh, I see. I feel so dumb. So, when you have free time, what’s your favorite thing to do?
I do art.
What kind of art?
Dioramas.
My kids like Facebook when they have free time.
I do Facebook sometimes, but usually like I’ll do Facebook for 15 minutes and then I’ll go do something else.
So you’re not a big Facebook person.
Well, I really do like Facebook. I just find that there’s not much to do after a while.
Is there stuff you like to do and your parents tell you don’t do it too much?
Yeah, well, like they tell me to do piano, and I don’t want to.
I was thinking of the opposite — something you really like to do and they have to tell you not to do it too much.
Um, talk fast.
They tell you to talk more slowly?
Yeah.
Is there anything else you wanted to tell our readers?
Pink is my favorite color? (laughs)
And you’re wearing a pink shirt.
Yeah.
What do you think of today’s July 4th celebration here?
It’s really fun. I go every year.
Thank you, Perry.
Okay, bye.
