An urgent care clinic across the street from the shuttered Doctors Medical Center in San Pablo is expanding its weekday hours to help serve high demand. LifeLong Urgent Care at 2023 Vale Road will open two hours earlier at 10 a.m. from Monday to Friday starting Monday. The center's new hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, according to a statement from the clinic. State Assemblyman Tony Thurmond helped get the clinic a $2 million grant to keep the clinic open longer hours, according to the clinic.
