More Details Released On Shooting That Killed 2, Injured 1

Police were called Thursday afternoon where the three were shot on a street in Richmond.

RICHMOND, CA — The victims in a shooting that left two people dead and another injured in Richmond Thursday were seated in a parked vehicle at the time of the incident, police said.

Two of the victims died at the scene, and the third victim was transported to the hospital, according to the Richmond Police Department.

The surviving victim was listed in stable condition Thursday night, according to police.

Officers responded Thursday at 3:47 p.m. to a ShotSpotter activation in the 3100 block of Esmond Avenue and located the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Information on the suspect or suspects involved in the incident was not immediately available Thursday night, but police said they are investigation the shooting.
