El Cerrito Invited to 'Move Forward' With St. Jerome School
The event kicks off at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, May 19th in the school yard located at 320 San Carlos Avenue, El Cerrito.

St. Jerome School invites members of the El Cerrito community to "Moving Forward With Technology" -- the theme of the annual Spring Festival, which promises fun for the whole family.
The event kicks off at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, May 19th in the school yard located at 320 San Carlos Avenue, El Cerrito. The festival plans a day packed with activities including fun carnival games for the kids, exciting performances, live music and an array of great food. There will also be a cakewalk, vendor booths and silent auction.
All proceeds from the festival go to toward updating the school's technology program.
While the festival is sure to please the kids in the family, there are plenty of activities for the adults as well. The yard will be jam-packed with a host of vendors offering an exciting selection of services and products.
According to parents, this fun festival typically fills the school yard and mingles school families, community members and others who stop by to partake of the yearly festivities.
Parent Teacher Group President Candis Johnson says this is an event that is fun for everyone. “Great fun, Great prizes and Great food; it’s the perfect day for everyone!”
Presented by the PTG, Dad’s Club, community donor’s and parent volunteers, this annual event is dedicated to raising funds that go directly to the betterment of technological education for the school’s students.
Principal Alison Wilkie is looking forward to sharing the festival with the community. "Join us for a family fun event as we raise funds for our technology program," Wilkie said.
St. Jerome Schools’ Spring Festival takes place Sunday, May 19th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
