Mystery Wine Bottle — Your Help Sought
Among the ceramic wares from El Cerrito's TEPCO factory was this wine bottle in the form of a priest who's perhaps praying or offering a blessing. We'd like to know what wine it held (and what the priest may have been blessing or praying for.)

Is he praying for a good vintage? Or seeking forgiveness for indulging in the contents?
This wine bottle came from the long-closed in El Cerrito, which once thrived as the city's largest employer and a motherlode of dinnerware on the West Coast.
The photo is part of a feature we plan to publish Thursday about TEPCO designs in advance of by collectors Lynn Maack and Sandi Genser-Maack.
