Richard Stromer to talk on "Joseph Campbell and the Religious Function of Myth" at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley on Nov 26.

Dr. Richard Stromer is a longtime student of mythology as a pathway for both psychological and spiritual development. He has a doctorate in Mythological Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute, home of the Joseph Campbell Library and Archives. He will give a free seminar on “Joseph Campbell and the Religious Function of Myth.”
Joseph Campbell was one of the greatest American mythologists of the twentieth century. He is best known for his books, The Power of Myth and The Hero’s Journey.
