- "Until the City Council makes El Cerrito an appealing place for small and big businesses to thrive, I can't think of a place. The Junket and Fat Apple's deserve some recognition."
- "El Mono is the only place I like at the moment."
- "National recognition? EC needs a lot of fixing up to make it nationally worthy. Needs a vibe to draw some more choices into the ball game. I would say El Mono, Elevation 66, Bahn Mi Ba Le."
OpenTable recently released their list of “100 Hottest Restaurants in America for 2016.”
