President Kronenberg should hold a forum on OCR findings

I have read the Office of Civil Rights investigation findings, the resolution agreement, the Superintendent's letter, and the board's response to the findings of sexual harassment investigation.  With respect to the district's response, there is one glaring omission, that being any hint of accountability on the part of the Superintendent, the default compliance officer for all Federal and State regulations.

On P. 5 of the OCR complaint document, the very first finding states that there was no Title IX Compliance Officer designee. How can this be?  This findings go on to list procedures that are either absent, inconsistent, and-or incomplete.  Even I had to report to trustee Todd Groves, that the Complaint Compliance Officer listed in the WCCUSD Handbook, Mr. Greenwood, was deceased.

This past week, the school board voted to extend the Superintendent's contract.  Is this how we reward failure to comply with the very laws adopted for purpose of protecting our children?  President Kronenberg should hold a forum immediately for purpose of allowing the community an opportunity to discuss the findings and response of this investigation.  Many forums have been held for less critical matters. The community deserves a chance to respond.
