Little David Rose’s thumpin’ stand-up bass, the double-shuffle drumming of Lee Beary, and the bounce piano of William Beatty provide the rhythmic foundation of the band’s jump style. Riffing on top is the trumpet sound of Robert Dehlinger and Keith Crossan on the saxophone. These two fellas create the fireworks of vintage rhythm and blues. Hank Maninger on vocals and lead guitar heads up Stompy Jones’ trademark style.
Richie Barron & Da Mob (Blues)

Guitar slinger Richie Barron began his career as vocalist and guitarist with Junior Walker, toured with ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard and cut his blues teeth in clubs from Dallas to Chicago. His band is hard-hitting in the Oakland tradition with an exhilarating horn section, powerful vocals and blues harmonica. Barron’s original jump blues songs and interviews have been featured on the nationally syndicated show House of Blues Radio with Blues Brother, Elwood Blues (aka Dan Aykroyd).
