Update: Richmond Police Hunting For Murder Suspect
The murder victim was found on the Richmond Greenway trail near the BART tracks.

Police are looking near BART tracks in Richmond for a suspect who fatally shot a man this morning, a police lieutenant said.
Officers responded at 9:23 a.m. to a shooting picked up by the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system in the 3200 block of Ohio Avenue, Richmond police Lt. Felix Tan said.

On the Richmond Greenway trail in that area, officers found a man determined to be the victim of a fatal shooting, Tan said. Officers are searching for the suspect on that pedestrian and bicyclist path, which is near BART tracks, Tan said.
A K-9 unit from BART police has been called to the scene to assist in the search. No other information about the case was immediately available.
