Sean Bennett to race in UCI World Pro Tour of California this coming week:
Sean Bennett just returned from racing in Europe with the U.S.A. Under 23 National team, and taking the climbers jersey in the prestigious 7 day cycling tour a week ago: Le Tour de of Bretagne. http://www.tourdebretagne.fr/ Sean will now ride for his U.S. team, Jelly Belly Pro Racing. Jelly Belly received one of the few U.S. team slots in the Tour of California when it became part of the UCI World Tour races this year. Sean accepted the offer to be on the racing squad for Jelly Belly at the Tour. The Tour starts this Sunday 5/14 at 11:45 in Sacramento and will continue south to Los Angeles with the final day at Mountain High on 5/21. Women's Tour starts in Lake Tahoe Thursday and ends on Sunday in Sacramento with the men's Tour start. http://www.amgentourofcalifornia.com All stages of the race are televised on 723 NBCSP for the East Bay.
