Seeking Bilingual Preschool Teacher

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified preschool teacher for a full-time position. Hours are 8:30 -- 4:30 Monday-Friday. The preschool has its own calendar, and is closed for U.S. holidays.

About Us: Sycamore Christian Preschool was created in 1995 as an outreach ministry to new Japanese immigrant families. Today we serve the needs of recent and longer term immigrants from Japan, blended families, and those simply interested in bilingual learning opportunities.

Responsibilities include: morning preparation, afternoon cleanup, leading worship time, and reading bible stories to children. Teachers must be well versed in child development, teaching techniques and classroom management, curriculum development, and parent interaction.

Requirements for the position: We are looking for a Japan/English bilingual speaking teacher. Education: 12 ECE college credits, or a preschool teaching credential from California or Japan. After hire, a TB test and Livescan Background Check are also required.

勤務時間：　月曜−金曜/8:30−16:30 (実働7.5時間、休憩３０分)
休日：　土、日曜日・祝日・その他（当園規定による）
条件：　⑴労働許可証及び、下記のいずれかの教諭免許保持者 　
　 　--幼稚園教諭第１種
　 　--幼稚園教諭第２種
−１２ ECE credits取得者
　　⑵日本語と英語のバイリンガル
　　　　⑶平日に毎日勤務可能な方
主な保育業務：　保育の準備、片付け、カリキュラムや保育記録の作成、サークルタイム時における礼拝のリード（聖書の物語を話す）
