Seminars on May 14 and May 21 by teacher of World Religions and author, Alex Pappas.

Free seminars to be presented by teacher of World religion and author, Alex Pappas, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley.

Come and join us at 9:30 am in the Fireside Room at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley , 1 Lawson Road (above the Arlington at Moeser Ave, through Terrace and Craft), Kensington. Alex is a retired community college teacher of World Religions and author of the book Heaven and Nirvana: Duality and Nonduality in the World Religions. He has traveled extensively to the sources of the religious traditions and spiritual paths that he teaches especially to India where, during thirteen visits, he lived and visited various Ashrams and spiritual centers

On May 14th, he will present “Religions as Theories of the Absolute Reality from a Dualistic and Non-Dualistic Point of View” and on May 21 on “Comparison of Swami Vivekananda's Raja Yoga with the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (8 Step Yoga Path).”

Alex's book will be available for sale after the seminars. All welcome! Free childcare at Skytown.
