Showing of Fix It: Healthcare at the Tipping Point and Q&A

Free Showing August 20, 2016, from 10:30 am – noon at the Rialto Cinemas Cerrito 10070 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito

Health Care for All – Contra Costa and Alameda Chapters, and Contra Costa County District I Supervisor John Gioia will co-sponsor a showing of a powerful new documentary, Fix It: Healthcare at the Tipping Point on Saturday, August 20, 2016, from 10:30 am – noon at the Rialto Cinemas Cerrito, 10070 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito.

Richard Master, CEO of MCS Industries Inc., the nation’s leading supplier of wall and poster frames, has produced this documentary which makes a powerful business case for replacing the current wasteful employer-based multi-payer health insurance system. Master believes that lifting the burgeoning burden and paperwork by enacting a system with public insurance and private delivery of health care will make our economy more efficient and our business more expansive.

The film and a Q & A with health reform activists Pat Snyder and Dan Hodges will give audience members a chance to learn more about the national healthcare debate that has been a major issue on the presidential campaign trail this year.
