As Skies Seemed 'Apocalyptic': Photos Of The Day

EL CERRITO, CA — Smoke, haze, ash, poor air quality. Sinister-looking skies of deep gold, orange, brown and gray — almost as if a child picked up the wrong-colored crayon.

On a morning a little more than a week ago, Patch reader Natasha Benjamin snapped these three photos that she dubbed "El Cerrito Apocalypse Skies." Thanks for sharing, Natasha. A vivid description for very vivid images.
