Spring Book Sale - The Friends of the Kensington Library

The Friends of the Kensington Library will hold its annual Spring Book Sale on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday May 8

The Friends of the Kensington Library will hold its annual Spring Book Sale on Saturday, May 7 from 9am - 4pm, and Sunday May 8 from 11am - 4pm in the Kensington Community Center at 59 Arlington Avenue.

The sale coincides with the Spring Carnival at Kensington Hilltop Elementary. Families enjoying the carnival games, prizes, and BBQ are encouraged to bring the excitement to the book tables, where the broad selection of titles - from categories including history, science, biography, art, music and children’s literature - speaks to the spirit of learning and curiosity in all ages.

The Friends of the Kensington Library, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, works to improve library services in Kensington. Through membership donations and book sale earnings, the Friends provide the Library with funds for books and other circulating materials, exemplary library programs for children and adults, reference materials and periodicals, and the host of special projects which make the library a vital center of community life in Kensington.
