In a race which Kenya's Geoffrey Mutai ran the fastest marathon in recorded history, two El Cerrito residents also took part in the 115th annual Boston Marathon Monday. Arturo Delgado Sr., 39, covered the 26.2-mile course in 3:10:17 — a pace of 7:16 per mile Dmitry Poletaev, 47, ran the course in a 7:18-mile pace and finished in 3:11:09.
