WCCUSD needs Valerie Cuevas and Liz Block

Former West Contra Costa Unified School District student seeking new board members in order to create change in our schools.

Valerie Cuevas and Liz Block have my vote in the upcoming West Contra Costa Unified School District elections and they should have yours, too. These women have the experience and skills needed to transform our failing schools. Our district has been underperforming for years and to continue to be one of the lowest performing districts in California is unacceptable. Our kids can’t wait. We need school board members who will act on behalf of students and not in self-interest. Valerie Cuevas comes with years of experience as a leader in K-12 education, along with a deep background in governmental affairs and nonprofit leadership at the local, state and national level. Liz Block is a former elementary school principal and special education administrator with more than 30 years of experience in Bay Area schools. Their commitment to students is more than evident through the time they have dedicated to supporting them. We need to do the same and show our commitment to the children of WCCU by voting for these two great leaders on November 4th and making a difference in the lives of students.
