My wife and I are preparing to relocate to the Sacramento area. To date we've looked at MLS property descriptions in the Elk Grove community and regarded the community favorably. Recently, however, we learned of the controversy over a proposed annexation of land and the claim that land values would plummet and taxes rise as a consequence. Can someone offer a concrete explanation? (I had hoped to e-mail Lynn Wheat but can't access her e-mail address.)
