Today, as I was volunteering at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Elk Grove, I noticed a piece of furniture in our backroom that will be part of our Vintage Event on July 20th from 8am-8pm. What caught my eye about this nightstand is that a) I have two just like it at home, and b) someone thinks it's a Vintage item. I was shocked! It's not all THAT old...I mean, I got it when I was in 7th grade...and that's not that long ago. Doing the math...it's only - gulp! - 42 years ago! Well, when you say that out loud...it does SEEM old. Okay, I can live with that...it's old....but, I'm not!
