Summer hiring slowed down a little this week, but a few employers who posted positions earlier in the season are coming back for more. Office giant Staples is offering three different jobs, while businesses in the Elk Grove Auto Mall continue to recruit salespeople.

Position: Pet care specialist

Duties: Must be able to multi-task, safely monitor dogs at play, and maintain a safe and clean environment (extensive cleaning involved).  

Requirements: Must be 18 years or older with at least one year of work experience. This position is ideal for college students or those with a passion for dogs.

Hours: Shifts are generally 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
