Elk Grove PD is Looking for Participants in Citizens' Academy

The Elk Grove Police Department is accepting applications for their Citizens' Academy! Beginning on February 8, 2012, the 15-week program is designed to teach residents about some of the many aspects of municipal policing, including patrol and investigations, forensics, arrest and control techniques, 911 communications, code enforcement and animal control.

There is no charge to attend the academy! The group will meet every Wednesday evening from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Police Department. All participants must live or work in Elk Grove, have no felony convictions and be at least 18 years old.
