Do You Know Who Killed My Grandson?

Hello People:

I have a few questions: Did you kill my grandson???

Do you know who did???

You probably know the Person, since this happened in our Elk Grove.

My name is Dixie LESTER: Grandmother of Jackson WALDEN.

Jackson was run over: not hit and thrown, on elk Grove Blvd. and School Street, in the crosswalk, at a well lit intersection. This was around 3:30 AM, making the date as 17 March 2012.

Where were You at that time? The vehicle was not a car: probably a pick-up truck. Was it Yours??? Were you alone or did you have a passenger with you.

Was this Person your Mother, your Father, your sister, your brother: your friend??? Was it your neighbor that came home after 4 in the AM and parked the pickup in the garage or barn where it never was put before??? Was the truck being hid for some unknown (to You) reason) ??? Was it one of your Kids that came home after 4 in the AM and seemed unusually jittery??? You do know You ran over something that night: Did You know who or what??? Did You go home to your nice warm bed or did you go home to tell someone that something may have happened???

Are you the Someone who was told about the incident that took my Grandson's life??? Are you the Person brave enough to come out of the shadows and tell our community that is so outraged about what You did to someone so loved by everyone he ever met??? Or are you the Person keeping the secret for someone you care about. If that is so, it will eat at your soul for the rest of your life.

Did You know you left my Grandson to die alone in the street??? Do You care??? Well, Person, I care and I will find You. You need to go to the Elk Grove Police Department. They are waiting for You. You need to try to right the wrong You have inflicted on my family and nearly 300 mourning family and friends of Jackson who attended the funeral last Saturday.

Where were You??? Were You also there??? Were You the one while hugging me in the Chapel who I felt shaking with that horrible uncontrollable quiver you have no control over??? Was that YOU???

Or were you the Coward that stayed away from all of our Friends and Family: afraid someone might see the guilt written on your face??? Did you sleep well Saturday night??? Neither did I. How are you sleeping now???

You might be the only stranger Jackson ever met: not brave enough to show Your face or say Your name. Shame on YOU.

You may never know the agony of having the well meaning Chaplains from the Coroner's office ring your door bell while you sleep to tell you someone you love is gone. Hopefully, in your case, it will be the other way around. You do not deserve the right to the air decent law abiding people breathe every day.

If you are the Person that just happens to know something: remember there has been $1000.00 reward posted for information leading to the arrest and conviction.
